Jim Corbett National Park is known for its varied wildlife. It is one of the nine tiger reserves created at the launch of the Project Tiger in 1973. The main wildlife animals found in the Jim Corbett National Park include the tiger, elephant, chital, sambar, nilgai, gharial, King Cobra, muntjac, wild boar, hedgehog, common musk shrew, flying fox, Indian Pangolin, and nearly 600 species of birds. Jim Corbett National Park receives thousands of visitors every year. A variety of facilities are available to house tourists within and outside the National Park.

This temple is at a distance of 10 kms from the National Park. Built over a huge rock in the centre of River Kosi, this temple is an ideal place to be in. The surrounding beautiful mountains and the river attracts a lot of tourists that visit this place.

Dhikala is the most well known of the popluar tourist destinations in Corbett. Located on the edge of the broad Patli Dun Valley, Dhikala gives way to the Ramganga River that flows in to numerous channels from here. Dhikala offers great views of the surrounding Valley, with the Kanda ridge in the backdrop. This sight appears all the more imposing from the watchtower near Dhikala. The old rest house at Dhikala is a historic structure, having been built over a hundred years ago.

Corbett Museum at Dhangarhi is a place where you will find the belongings of Jim Corbett - The hunter and naturalist. Many interesting historical facts about this legend can be found inside the museum.
