NAINA DEVI TEMPLE
Maa Naina Devi presides over this temple, and is represented by her two eyes. The Naina temple has been reconstructed after the historical land slip of 1880.
The Governor’s house designed in Victorian Gothic style was originally the summer residence of the Governor of the North West province. Today it serves as the official guesthouse for the Governor of Uttarkhand. There are 113 rooms, a large garden and a swimming pool.
Snow View at an altitude of 2270 m, can be reached by cable car. It offers spectacular views of some Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trisul and Nanda Kot.

Come face to face with the Siberian Tiger, Snow Leopard, Goat Antelope – Ghooral and many types of birds and pheasants.
It is the former residence of Jim Corbett, located on Ayarpatta Hill. Before leaving for Kenya, Jim and his wife sold the residence to a Zamindari family in Bihar. Although a private residence, it is open to visitors as a Corbett Museum.
