HOW TO GET THERE
Karwar boasts of having its own railway station located within the city which connects all eminent stations of India including – Bangalore, Mangalore, New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore and Jaipur among many others.
The airport at the closest proximity of Karwar is the Dabolim Airport from Goa. On landing, a drive of two and half hours separates Goa from this mesmerizing town
It takes a journey of around 8 hours to reach Karwar from Bangalore which lies 520 kms away. From Goa, it’s even quicker than a 2 hour drive(85 kms). Mangalore lies at around 270 kms away and Pune at 520 kms.

Karwar enjoys a breezy maritime climate all through the year which makes it an ideal breakaway locale which is accessible and easy to travel to. Pongal, celebrated in mid-January, is also commemorated with a plethora of ethnic and traditional celebrations.
