Why We Always Plan Summer Vacations Properly<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our family, summer vacations are not just about taking leave from work or staying in a nice place. We always try to make them meaningful because children remember experiences more than anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me also, these trips are important. Daily life in Hyderabad becomes too busy sometimes. Office work, traffic, deadlines, phone calls after some point every day starts feeling the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born and brought up in a village, so my childhood was completely different from the way my children are growing up now. We spent most of our time outside the house. Farms, trees, animals, open grounds, evening walks  everything felt natural during those days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But city life is different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My children\u2019s daily routine is mostly school, apartment, school bus, homework, and mobile phones. Even weekends disappear quickly inside malls or indoors because of the heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is why whenever we get time, I try taking them outside the city. Sometimes to hill stations, sometimes beaches, sometimes villages. I always feel children should experience something beyond screens and buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Time the Kids Wanted a Jungle Vacation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usually, I am the one who decides the vacation destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And honestly, I always end up choosing hill stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time my children finally complained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So they decided this vacation should be different. They wanted a jungle trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually, I liked the idea immediately because even I wanted a change this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After checking different places near Hyderabad, we finalized Tipeshwar Tiger Reserve. It is around 380 km from Hyderabad, so it was comfortable enough for a family road trip over a long weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another reason we selected Tipeshwar was because it still felt peaceful and less crowded compared to many famous safari destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We Wanted the Stay to Match the Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After selecting the destination, the next important thing was choosing where to stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, I never liked the idea of staying in a regular city-type hotel and then going outside for a jungle safari. If we are planning a nature trip, the stay itself should also feel close to nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is exactly why we chose Sterling Tipeshwar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The property looked calm, family-friendly, and connected to the forest surroundings we were looking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Drive Slowly Changed Our Mood<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started from Hyderabad early in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially it was the regular traffic, crowded roads, and busy city atmosphere. But slowly things started changing during the drive. Buildings reduced, roads became quieter, and dry forest stretches and open farmland slowly started appearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though it was summer, the surroundings still felt refreshing after city life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is the best thing about road trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You slowly disconnect from routine without even realizing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closer we got to Tipeshwar, the calmer everyone became. Even the children slowly stopped using their phones and started looking outside more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Small villages, roadside tea stalls, dry fields, and long open roads somehow changed the mood completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our First Impression of Sterling Tipeshwar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After reaching Sterling Tipeshwar, the first thing we noticed was the peaceful atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The property did not feel like a typical hotel. It felt open, natural, and relaxed. Tall trees, quiet surroundings, and the overall setup made it feel connected to the jungle experience itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, our original plan was simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stay.
Go for safari.
Spend family time.
Eat well.
Come back home relaxed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the trip became much more than that.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Small Experiences Became the Best Memories<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the trip, we thought the safari would become the highlight for the children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But surprisingly, some of the smallest experiences became the most memorable ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One evening we attended the honey tasting session. Initially the children thought it would just be a small activity, but once they started tasting and hearing about natural honey collection, they became genuinely interested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watching children become curious about simple real-life things feels nice nowadays because most of their attention usually goes towards gadgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But personally, the bullock cart ride became my favourite moment from the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The moment I saw the cart, it immediately reminded me of my village childhood. During those days, these things were normal for us. We never thought they were special experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But after living in cities for years, even seeing a bullock cart brought back many old memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watching my children enjoy the ride so much made me unexpectedly emotional. They were laughing, enjoying the uneven village roads, and fully excited about something so simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For them, it was just fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, it felt like reconnecting with my own childhood again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The farm visit also became one of the most peaceful parts of the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No traffic.
No noise.
No hurry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just open land, fresh air, and a completely different pace of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The children were observing everything carefully plants, birds, farming activities, animals nearby  things that usually go unnoticed in city life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At one point I simply sat quietly watching them run around freely without mobile phones in their hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, that moment itself made me happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Safari Experience Felt Completely Different<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The safari experience was something all of us were excited about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early in the morning, we got into the jeep and entered the forest area. The feeling itself was completely different because unlike zoos, here you are entering the animals\u2019 space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deeper we went inside the forest, the quieter everyone became.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dry trees, dusty safari roads, bird sounds from far away, movements between trees \u2014 everything started feeling exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even the jeep ride itself became part of the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes the driver slowed down after noticing footprints. Sometimes everyone started looking in one direction after hearing movement inside the bushes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That waiting feeling made the safari more exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside a zoo, animals are already there in front of you. But inside a forest, every sighting feels special because nature decides what you get to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even spotting deer moving freely inside the forest excited the children. Seeing peacocks crossing the road suddenly and monkeys jumping between trees made the whole experience feel real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One moment I personally loved was when the jeep stopped for a few minutes and everything became silent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No traffic sounds.
No phone calls.
No city noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only forest sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That silence felt different in the best possible way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the children, the safari was adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we started from Hyderabad, we thought this would simply be another family vacation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But during the return journey, it honestly felt like much more than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good family time.
Peaceful surroundings.
Nature.
Simple village experiences.
A proper break from routine life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes children don\u2019t need expensive entertainment. Sometimes they just need experiences that feel real.And honestly, this trip gave exactly that to all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
