Sariska, a sanctuary known for being home to endangered tigers and many other wildlife species, is also home to a diverse and a variety of avi fauna or birdlife that have adapted to the park’s ecosystem.

Some of the common bird species in and around Sariska include the Indian Peacock (Peafowl) with its vibrant plumage, the Grey Francolin, the Indian Roller- known for its striking blue and green plumage, the White-throated Kingfisher found very often by water bodies, the Crested Serpent Eagle a raptor species that preys on snakes and small animals, the Jungle Babbler- social birds often seen in groups and known for their loud calls, the Red-vented Bulbul- small songbirds with distinctive red patches, the Golden Oriole with a bright yellow plumage, often seen in tree canopies and many more. Sariska is also known for its population of vultures, including the critically endangered Indian vulture.
