HOW TO GET THERE
Most trains that run from Delhi to Mumbai and Delhi to Chennai pass through the Agra railway station. A journey of 2-3 hours from Delhi can reach you to the city. The most common trains of this route are – Bhopal Shatabdi Express, Malwa Express, Gondwana Express, Jabalpur–Jammu Tawi Express.
The Agra Airport (AGR) is a military airbase which is around 12.5 km away from the city.
At 204 km from Delhi, Agra lies on the crossroads of national highways 2, 3, and 11. The most popular roadway from New Delhi to Agra is the Taj Express Highway. Transportation by road will take you approximately 2 to 3 hours. The most prominent bus-stations of the city are at Idgah, Agra Fort, and ISBT where you can find luxurious air-conditioned buses travelling to many cities across North India.

The best months to enjoy Agra are from February to April and September to November – during which the destination is extremely pleasant.
Enjoy the glory of the Taj in the summers between April and June. The months of April-May are the ideal time to see flowers like rhododendrons, roses and dahlias in full bloom.
Experience romance in the rains during the months of July and August.
If you enjoy the winters, December and January are the best months for you to visit Agra.
