non_vegA Rich, tasty recipe of baked prawns with steamed rice   

If you love sea-food very much, this is the perfect dish for you. It is a very succulent and nutritious preparation which is also very filling. You can make this fantastic dish in a Jiffy and serve your family.




Prawns (75 gm each) 4 pcs
Shallots 60 gm
Butter 25 gm
White wine 60 ml
Fish stock 100 ml
Fresh cream 100 ml
Parsley 10 gm
Parmesan cheese 50 gm
Pepper corn 4 gm
Flour 25 gm


  • Add little butter to flour and knead it to make dough. Keep it aside.
  • Chop parsley and shallots into fine pieces.
  • Put a frying pan on the stove. Pour some butter and add pepper corn, chopped shallots and prawns. Sauté everything till they change colour.
  • Add wine, chopped parsley, dough, fish stock and a little parmesan cheese.  Stir continuously.
  • Use a baking plate with a ring mould.  Pour the above mixture in between the ring mould and top with rest of Parmesan cheese. Pre-heat oven to 3500 F – 4000 F and bake for around 8 minutes.
  • While serving, remove the mould and put a bowl of steamed rice instead
