Holistic Wellness Experiences
At Sterling Lake Palace Alleppey, wellness is not a service but a journey. At the Subuthi Spa, we offer a variety of signature Ayurvedic therapies such as the Abhyanga Massage, Podi Kizhi, Shirodhara, Ela Kizhi, and Kati Vasti that create a balance of energy in the body and harmonise it. This is a short retreat designed to detox your mind and body through ancient Ayurvedic healing, revitalising therapies and nourishing wellness practices. Here is what the program offers
On day 1 of the serene heaven of Subuthi Spa, you meet the Ayurvedic physician for personalised wellness consultation, and are taken through a relaxing herbal oil massage – Abhyanga massage for stress relief. Savour the Ayurvedic dinner in the evening, which has been particularly prepared to aid in your quest for wellness. Podi Kizhi treatment, which uses warm herbal powders to gently energise the body, begins on day two after an early morning yoga session. After the Abhyanga massage, which improves blood circulation and aids in detoxifying, there is a herbal steam bath. Ela Kizhi therapy, a medicinal herbal bundle that relieves joint stiffness and muscular stress, and revitalising yoga practices are part of Day 3’s goal to restore inner strength. A revitalising herbal steam bath at the end of the day leaves the body feeling renewed. Day 4 begins with yoga in the morning, followed by Shirodhara therapy, which involves applying warm oil to the forehead to promote mental clarity and relax the nervous system. Marma foot therapy, which clears obstructions and restores the body’s natural energy flow, rounds out the day. This program’s final day begins with a yoga class and ends with a Shirodhara session. To enable them to carry on with their wellness journey at Sterling Alleppey, a bespoke herbal package and a customised food and lifestyle plan are given to them prior to check-out.
The Sapta Samridhi program builds on Panch Prasada’s basis by extending the path to more profound healing and renewal. Day 5 begins with a yoga session followed by the Pizhichil therapy, a warm oil massage to soothe the whole body. The day is concluded with the Kati Vasti therapy for back pain relief if any. Day 6 again starts with a yoga session, followed by the introduction of Nijavara Kizhi therapy, a deeply nourishing treatment using medicated rice boluses to strengthen muscles and revitalise the body, along with the Kati Vasti therapy, a specialised warm oil treatment for lower back pain relief. Before guests check out with customised herbal packages and food programs to be followed outside of Sterling Alleppey, the final day includes a morning yoga and Shirodhara session.
Morning yoga sessions, specialised Marma therapy, Njavarakizhi, and Udwarthanam are included from day 8 to day 14, which aid in reviving energy, enhancing circulation, and boosting general vitality.
