“Wonderful trip to Matheran”
“Wonderful trip to Matheran”
– Mr. Sahil Dudeja
Matheran is a hill station situated 803 meters above sea level. It’s a beautiful place filled with lush greenery and tranquil environment. On an awesome rainy day, we visited Matheran and the weather was absolutely lovely. Matheran is famous for its 33 viewpoints which render Matheran’s village-dotted plains and offer panoramic views of the Western Ghats.
We visited 8 different points on the same day including Khandala point, Echo point and some other wonderful lookout points. We reached a beautiful temple after we crossed the river and spent a while in the temple. We then went to the tea stall situated near the temple to rest, where we met a person who lives in Matheran. The person had told us interesting story about the next point we were about to visit. As it was already late, we had decided not to visit that particular point and got out of the place as early as possible. Overall, a memorable experience and would love to come back to the place.
