Summer (March – June)
Summer is the peak season and, for most travellers, the best time to visit Mount Abu, when temperatures of roughly 23°C to 36°C feel dramatically cooler, making it ideal for boating on Nakki Lake, sunset points and long forest walks in the early hours.
Monsoon (July – September)
The monsoon season turns the Aravalli hills intensely green, with temperatures generally between 20°C and 30°C and mist drifting through the forests. Crowds thin, seasonal streams run and the landscape is at its most photogenic, though trails can be slippery, so plan hikes and jungle walks with care.
Winter (October – February)
October and November bring crisp, clear days that are excellent for sightseeing. From December to February, winter turns genuinely cold at around 5°C to 25°C, with the coldest nights dipping close to freezing, drawing visitors for the chill, the Winter Festival and misty mornings over the hills.
