Best Time to Visit
Winter (October – February)
Winter is the best time to visit Sariska, with cool, pleasant days between 8°C and 25°C. Clear weather, active wildlife, and migratory birds from November to February make it the prime season for jeep safaris and birdwatching.
Summer (March – June)
Summers turn hot and dry, with temperatures climbing towards 40°C. While the afternoons are intense, this is often the best season for tiger sightings, as big cats and other wildlife gather around the reserve's shrinking waterholes.
Monsoon (July – September)
The monsoon cloaks the Aravallis in fresh green and fills the streams and waterfalls, with temperatures around 25°C to 34°C. The core safari zones usually close during these months, though the resort remains a peaceful, scenic retreat for a nature break.
For the best mix of comfortable weather and wildlife sightings in Sariska, plan your safari between October and March. Book safari permits well in advance, pack earth-tone clothing and warm layers for early-morning drives, and carry a valid photo ID, which is mandatory for every safari.
