Overall I have had a great experience. The staff at the property went all out to make the stay memorable. All the experiences they showcased were really great - they were well prepared and made sure it was executed perfectly. The food by Chef Mehboob Syed was exceptional as it also helped me understand the cuisine of Konaseema well. The room given was very large and spacious. Two things I feel can make it better - the large bathroom can have blinds covering the windows - the curtains can be removed. Also the towels can be replaced - I feel they have been through some wear and tear. These are only small things, I must say the team was most attentive and did a lot. I will highly recommend the place.

A stay at Sterling Palavelli Godavari is incomplete without the mention of Konaseema, cultural and culinary catalyst of life for all those living in the region. Holding immense significance on the people’s dialect and the art of the region, Konaseema also has a deep impact on the cooking styles and flavours cherished by the locals. Be it regular dining at home or be it special celebrations; Dibba Roti with Cheruku Rasam, Pottukallu, Pesarattu or Masala Gari are a flavorful wake up to the mornings.
Highly popular, exotic river fish like the ‘Pulasa’ (reputed to be the costliest fish in India) is a delicacy for special events, while Pethala Koora and Royyala Iguru are daily favourites of the region. Savour the signature dishes of Sterling Palavelli Godavari like Mixed Rajula Pulao, Vegetarian Liver Curry, Pandugapa Vepudu Chepala koora, Bochu Pulusu and more.
For the traveller with a penchant for sweets, Godavari’s cultivation of Sugarcane is well-known across India. Not surprisingly, this has resulted in a range of sweet dishes like Bobatulu, Kaja, Palakova, Mamidi Tandra and unique Pootharekulu – a paper thin crepes made of jaggery and rice which is not just a local favourite, but indeed a national phenomenon.
Be it Meetings, Reunions, Weddings, Conferences or any other Events, Sterling Palavelli Godavari is the ideal choice.

Our Manduva Logili rooms are a tribute to the grand Zamindari era of Andhra Pradesh. These are traditional courtyard houses where rooms open into a central, sunlit portico. It’s a social and cooling architectural style that allows you to experience the authentic "village aristocrat" lifestyle while enjoying all the modern comforts of a premium resort.
Absolutely. The "Cruise of Godavari" is a must-do experience. We are located right on the banks, and our private houseboats and rowboats can take you through the palm-fringed backwaters. We highly recommend our sunset cruise to Sivakodu Lanka, a secluded river island with soft white sand—it’s the perfect spot for quiet reflection or a family picnic.
Food is at the heart of the Palavelli experience. Our kitchen specializes in the fiery and flavorful Konaseema cuisine, using local organic produce and fresh catch from the river. From the legendary Pulasa fish curry (seasonal) to the famous Atreyapuram Pootharekulu (wafer-thin sweets), we ensure your palate discovers the true "rice bowl" heritage of Andhra.
We are ideally located for a spiritual sojourn. The historically significant Pancharama temples of Lord Shiva (specifically the ones at Palakollu and Bhimavaram) are easily accessible from the resort. Our travel desk can help curate a day-long "Temple Trail" that includes these ancient sites and the magnificent 90-foot tall Sri Vasavi Kanyaka statue.
Beyond the infinity pool, we offer experiences that connect you with the land. You can take a guided walk through our 6-acre coconut plantation (a biodiversity hotspot with 23 exotic flora species), visit nearby jaggery-making farms, or try your hand at the local lace-making craft. For families, cycling through the rural lanes of Yelamanchili Lanka offers a refreshing break from city life.
