While at Kanha, explore the off-beaten trails and get closer with nature.

Guided by an experienced naturalist at Sterling Kanha, follow the trail by the Banjar river to get a unique perspective of the jungle. Though the jungle is dominated by Sal and Bamboo, there are more than 100 species of flowering plants. Sometimes, you can see peacocks, deer and other smaller animals on the riverside as well. Hear and spot magnificent birds like the scarlet minivet, Indian roller, Malabar pied hornbill, oriental skylark, great tit, black drongo amongst others. There are more than 200 species of birds in Kanha.

Sterling Kanha offers treks early in the morning and in the evening before sunset.

Trail distance - 2 km to 5 km depending on the weather.

Wear light comfortable clothes, trekking or sport shoes are recommended.
