Sariska Tiger Reserve

Sariska National Park is a crucial habitat for a variety of wildlife species. Visitors to the park have the opportunity to spot elusive predators such as the Bengal tiger, leopards, and jungle cats. Other notable inhabitants include Indian striped hyena, golden jackal, sambar deer, spotted deer, and numerous species of birds and reptiles.

The park's avian population is particularly rich, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. You get to go bird watching while on the safari as the reserve is home to more than 220 species of birds with migratory birds from Europe, Central Asia, and other regions. Going on a safari can prove to be highly enjoyable if you go in groups as it would add an entirely different level of fun quotient to the trip.

An exceptional feature of Sariska National Park is that, tourists can enter the National Park by their private vehicles on Tuesdays and Saturdays. On other days, tourists can enjoy the Sariska Gypsy Safari or the Sariska Canter Safari (safari bus for many groups) which can be booked easily through our resort or through the official website.

There are two gates to enter the National Park- the Sariska Gate and the Tehla Gate. Choose the Sariska Gate when booking your safari. The safari taken through Sariska Gate is where one can spot most of the tigers and birds, and it is closer to the Sterling resort.

The core area of the reserve is closed during the monsoon season. However, if you take the monsoon buffer safari, the canters are allowed to enter the buffer zone up to the Pandupole Temple.
