Thanagazi Fort
Thanagazi Fort was built in the late 1700s by Rav Raja Pratap Singh after he took over Alwar. This was one of the many forts constructed during his reign.
It is located in the Thanagazi village, near to the Sariska Tiger Reserve. The fort is situated on a small hill, and surrounded by the Thanagazi local market and farms. Though the fort walls and the roof seem to be falling apart, the fort still stands as a memorial of the architectural grandeur and dynasty of Raja Pratap.
Reaching the fort can be difficult due to steep narrow roads and the need to walk through ups and downs. However, the Thanagazi Fort can be easily viewed from Sterling Rewild Sariska.
