Duharmala Village Trek
An offbeat place, the Duharmala village is a small settlement occupied by a local tribe and located atop the Aravalli range. The main source of income for the village is through rearing cows.

The villagers of Duharmala have been around for more than 500 years even during the ruling periods of the Mughals.
A trek to the Duharmala village can be organized by Sterling Rewild Sariska to view the beautiful sunrise from the Aravalli range. Along with a breathtaking view of the sunrise, one can spot rare yet elegant birds in the vicinity. The trek to the top is about 3 kms from the Sterling resort and takes around 2 hours (4 ½ hours in total). The trek is led by a local villager of the Duharmala village and after viewing the picturesque hills and the sunrise, one can interact with the villagers, have fresh tea made with milk sourced directly from the cows reared at the village and indulge in a local breakfast.
It is recommended to start your trek by 5am to make it in time for the sunrise.
